Initialization
NOTE:
NOTE: Initialization is required to learn both the full UP and full DOWN positions and the profile of the glass as it travels through the glass channel. Once initialized, obstacle detection is enabled.
NOTE: A new door module or de-initialized window does not operate in one-touch up mode until it has been initialized.
Turn the ignition ON.NOTE: The following step de-initializes the window (door module). If a new door module has been installed, proceed to Step 3.
Operate the window control switch in one-touch mode and remove power from the window by momentarily disconnecting the vehicle battery ground cable(s) while the window is moving.
WARNING:
Keep objects and body parts clear of the glass panel
when carrying out the initialization procedure. During the
initialization procedure, the glass panel closes with high force and
cannot detect objects in its path. Failure to follow this instruction
may result in serious personal injury.

Ford Diagnostic Assumptions
Ford diagnostics assume the vehicle concern described by the test title is currently present. Exceptions to this rule are noted in each test. Do not replace modules or other components as directed by a diagnostic if the concern is not present at the time of testing.
