Lincoln Navigator: Front End Body Panels / Fender Splash Shield. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE:
LH side shown, RH side similar.

Remove the wheel and tire.
Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

Remove the bolts and the push pins.
Torque:
15 lb.in (1.7 Nm)

Remove the nut, the pin-type retainer and the push pins.
Torque:
28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)

Remove the bolts.
Torque:
15 lb.in (1.7 Nm)

Remove the fender splash shield.
-
Remove the pin-type retainers.
-
Release the wire harness retainers.
-
Lower the fender splash shield.
-
If equipped.
Detach the wire harness retainer.
-
Detach the wire harness retainer and remove the fender splash shield.
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
