Lincoln Navigator: Front Seats / Front Seat Cushion Adjuster - Vehicles With: Multi-Contour Seats. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE:
Driver seat shown, passenger seat similar.
NOTE:
The SCMG (driver multi-contour seat module)/SCMH (passenger
multi-contour seat module) is part of the front seat cushion adjuster
and is serviced as an assembly.

Remove the front seat cushion cover and foam as an assembly.
Refer to: Front Seat Cushion Cover (501-10A Front Seats, Removal and Installation).

Remove the front seat cushion blower motor.
-
Disconnect the electrical connector.

Rotate the front seat cushion blower motor 45 degrees clockwise to unlock from the seat cushion suspension.

Detach the front seat cushion blower motor duct.

Separate the driver seat cushion SCMG / SCMH from the front seat cushion.

Disconnect the electrical connector.
-
Detach the wiring harness retainers.

Separate the driver seat cushion SCMG / SCMH from the front seat cushion.

Compress/squeeze the hose end fitting.
-
Disconnect the hose.
-

Remove the front seat cushion adjuster pin-type retainers.

Lift the front seat cushion adjuster.

NOTE:
Note the routing of the SCMG (driver multi-contour
seat module)/SCMH (passenger multi-contour seat module) for
installation.
Remove the front seat cushion adjuster while routing the driver seat cushion SCMG / SCMH through the front seat track.

NOTE:
This step is only necessary when installing a new component.
Remove the front seat cushion blower motor duct.
Installation

To install reverse the removal procedure.

Remove the front door trim panel.

Driver seat shown, passenger seat similar.
Raise the seat to the full up position.
Depower the SRS ...

engine appearance cover...

Remove the driver airbag.

On both sides.
Disconnect the steering wheel switch electrical connectors...
